CLAYOQUOT WILDERNESS LODGE

#ExploreWildBC Pledge

We have a shared responsibility to protect and restore BC’s wilderness spaces for present and future enjoyment. We’re calling on all travellers to join us in taking the #ExploreWildBC Pledge.

The WTA believes that a sustainable future for BC’s wilderness tourism industry is possible when we work together to prioritize the health of environments and communities. Our goal is to help educate travellers on how they can make a positive impact on the people and places around them.

We encourage you to use this resource as a North Star while embarking on journeys throughout BC. This pledge offers simple tips on: honouring Indigenous cultures, treading lightly on the land, respecting our waters, supporting local communities, being mindful of wildlife, and following current regulations.

Spend some time reading through the 6 pillars of responsible and regenerative travel and end by taking the pledge to #ExploreWildBC with care.
